Homemade trailers
A homemade trailer is a trailer that has been fabricated and/or individually assembled by an individual (not mass produced). Modifying or adding to a manufactured trailer is not considered a homemade trailer.
Homemade trailers are required to have a serial plate affixed before the trailer can be registered and a license plate issued.
- T-22B form completed by Georgia Law Enforcement Officer
- Trailer must be inspected by a representative at our Memorial or South DeKalb locations
Additional instructions will be provided by the representative if trailer is deemed an actual homemade trailer.
Manufactured trailer without a serial number affixed to the trailer cannot be register in DeKalb County.
