DeKalb County tax commissioner’s office locations reopen Jan. 27
Customers encouraged to schedule an appointment for walk-in service
DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. – The DeKalb County tax commissioner’s office will resume normal operations Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026. The Memorial Dr., Clairmont Rd., and South DeKalb Mall office locations will reopen at 8 a.m. Please monitor local media for weather updates before traveling.
For walk-in service, customers should expect delays. Appointments for motor vehicle and property tax services can be scheduled ahead of time or customers may join the virtual waitlist for same-day service at DeKalbTax.org.
Online and kiosk options are also available for most services. Property tax information is available online at publicaccess.dekalbtax.org. Motor vehicle e-services are available at eservices.drives.ga.gov. Tag kiosk services are available at participating Kroger stores; locations are listed at dekalbtax.org/kiosks.
