The DeKalb County Tax Commissioner’s Office is seeking qualified Customer Service personnel. The starting pay rate is $14.15 an hour.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
Must possess a High School Diploma (college degree preferred)
Must be proficient in using the internet and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint,etc.);
Must have at least 1 year of experience handling cash and credit transactions
Must have at least 1 year of experience in Customer Service
Must have an understanding of basic accounting concepts and be able to apply them
The hiring team reviews all eligible applications and determines which applicants to interview. Only applicants selected for an interview will be contacted.
Meeting the minimum eligibility requirements listed above does not guarantee an interview
If selected, you must pass our entry level test, which consists of a data entry requirement of 6000kph and a typing requirement of 35wpm.
Once you pass both tests, the hiring team will make a determination as to whether you will be scheduled for an interview.
After the interview, selected applicants must satisfactorily complete all aspects of the training program. The details of the training program will be shared during the interview.
There is a 6 month probationary period once hired.
