DeKalb County Tax Bills Mailed

SERVICE ALERT: The Clairmont Road tax office is temporarily closed due to a water main break in the area. Please avoid the area if possible and visit our Memorial Drive or South DeKalb Mall office tax office locations for service until further notice.

The DeKalb County Tax Commissioner’s Office will begin mailing property owners their 2024 tax bills on Aug. 15. Property owners who also signed up for e-bills will receive email notification and should check their spam/junk folder during this time. Bills for City of Atlanta properties in DeKalb will be mailed later.

The payment installment due dates for DeKalb County taxes are Sept. 30 and Nov. 15. If you choose to pay the full amount in one payment, it must be paid by Sept. 30.

Failure to receive a bill does not relieve the responsibility of paying taxes due. It is the property owner's responsibility to inform our office of any mailing address changes.
